As a Customer Interviewer in a branch you will be responsible for dealing with investment enquires, undertaking customer interviews and encouraging the team to provide you with quality leads to achieve sales of agreed targets. You will be: Guiding Retail Assistants on complex, difficult or sensitive matters Interviewing customers on all matters with specific emphasis on new mortgage or Investment products and revenue generation Helping customers to determine their requirements through discussion and understanding of products and services Converting enquiries and opportunities into sales where appropriate Providing information from records Requesting information and action from external parties and Head Office departments Assuring compliance with Society requirements concerning administration and records Experience, Skills & Qualifications A minimum of 12 months financial services experience

A minimum of 4 GCSE's or equivalent (Grade A-C) including English and Mathematics Experience of working in a retail targeted sales environment A high degree of IT and numeracy skills Customer questioning, objection handling and selling skills A thorough understanding and adherence to procedures, compliance, regulatory requirements A thorough understanding and working knowledge of the mortgage market specifically the complexity and application of the products/services sold under this job profile A willingness to undertake relevant courses and study for appropriate examinations including ICOB
