Customer Account manager

PURPOSE: To manage existing and potential customers within designated post-code areas to exceed business targets.



KEY AREAS



• To interview and evaluate customer information from application.• To identify opportunities to sell welcome products.

• To make a credit decision and supporting recommendation for discussion with the Branch Manager

• To conduct a follow up meeting with the customer to confirm terms and conditions.

• To manage existing customer accounts on an ongoing basis, proactively identifying potential issues/problems and implementing solutions.

• To generate business from the existing customer base.

• When the needs of the business require and when instructed proactively manage LMB accounts

• Training and coaching when buddied up with less experienced CAMs.

• Compliance to SOPs and Policy• Identifies and progresses opportunities to improve operational processes within own branch

• To embrace the culture of treating customers fairly

• Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to

• To embrace and champion a Quality Culture throughout WFS

• To embrace the Working Together Culture



KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS



• Responsible for 200-250 customers accounts

• Solicitation Results• Other agreed business development activities

• Collection targets

• CAM league table

• Bonus Programme

• Operates in a Compliant manner

• Through the appraisal process



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



• Full Driving licence

• IT literate

• Previous financial services experience (not essential)

• Administration and financial awareness skills

• Previous experience in a customer focused environment

• Good verbal and written communication

• Problem solving abilities

• Good time management

• Experience of meeting targets and deadlines

• FSA Advanced Level
